How does it work?

  1. A caller rings your company.
  2. If no one is available to answer, or the call is out of office hours, your Caller is forwarded to Answerlink.
  3. Our system screen displays your company name and your chosen greeting.
  4. A message is then taken by our operator with any additional information you may need.
  5. The message is then sent via your chosen method: by email, fax or SMS (text message), or by voice relay direct to you.

How to set up?

The service is quite easy to set up. We agree the scripting and then:

  1. An Answerlink Agreement is forwarded to yourselves for signatures.
  2. Upon receipt of the Agreement, we implement all of your details onto our system for our advisors to receive training.
  3. We provide you with an 0845 number which is required to link your telephone numbers to our call centre. This number is free for you to use during your Agreement term. You can advertise the 0845 number to give yourselves a national presence.
  4. We perform test calls for your approval.
  5. Service commences.

Non-geographic phone numbers

(0845 - 0800 - 0870 - 0900)

Answerlink also offers a range of non-geographic telephone numbers. These can either be used as main office numbers, or for marketing or advertising campaigns, at highly competitive prices.

  • 0800 Numbers: calls are freephone to the caller from landlines not mobiles
  • 0870 Numbers: giving you a national presence
  • 0845 Numbers: giving you a national presence
  • 0906 Premium Rate: we offer a full range of premium rate numbers which can be used for technical support, competitions or information lines and earn you revenue.

All Answerlink numbers are fully portable and can be instantly re-routed to any telephone line, service centre or other destination of your choice, with variable location or time-diversion features.
